Anni - Owner & Yoga Teacher (RYT500)

I founded Balou Yoga and the shop to help and connect more people with yoga and meditation. Especially nowadays, it is very important that we pay attention to our well-being and health, find ourselves again and live in harmony with nature and our soul.

Yoga and meditation have changed my life completely. I started again at the age of 42 and now do what I love from the heart and what feels good to me.

It took a burnout to find yoga and meditation. It helped me a lot to find my way through and out of it. Together with meditation, I found the clarity and the courage to make the necessary changes in my life, professionally and privately.

Self-care is particularly important, which I learned after my burnout. Paying attention to us, giving us enough time to recharge our energy reserves, relaxing, finding our balance again. This is the only way we can stay healthy and be there for others, be it at work or privately and with more serenity.

You see, it's never too late to start again, even with yoga and meditation.

One of the changes was to become a yoga teacher to share the positive experiences that I have had and still have. It is always a great pleasure to teach yoga. I really enjoy these moments and the bliss and positive feelings I get back after each class are priceless. The yoga world is endless and there are many different yoga styles that all offer and stimulate something different, so I keep discovering new styles that inspire me abd I will continue my training to progress and grow.

I am not exactly the youngest, most flexible, or thinnest yoga teacher, yoga is not about being able to put your leg behind your head, it is about calming your mind.

Everyone can start with yoga and meditation. It is never too late. It is possible for everyone, including you. It's a great way to stay healthy, be more aware of yourself and the environment, see things more clearly, and deal with everyday life and stress in a more relaxed way.

It also helps me to stay positive in hard times and in not so happy moments.

Why not give it a try?

I look forward to accompanying you on your journey to yourself and your inner balance.

Incidentally, the name Balou Yoga derives from my favorite childhood film Jungle Book. Balu the Bear had always fascinated me with his relaxed and calm manner and in Hindi bear means & quot; Bahlu & quot ;. And after a yoga practice, I always feel very comfortable, comfortable, and calm like a bear. :)
